Mayor Gilmore stated going back to negotiate that one little piece cannot be done unilaterally and would require the unions to agree to reopen negotiations, if negotiations are reopened, everything would be on the table, including the 15% contribution received from public safety. Councilmember Chen moved final passage of the ordinance. Vice Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft seconded the motion, which carried by the following voice vote: Ayes: Councilmembers Chen, Ezzy Ashcraft, Tam and Mayor Gilmore - 4. Noes: Councilmember Daysog - 1.
