Ms. Barbara Kerr expressed her concern with the parking and the parcel on the corner of Buena Vista and Sherman and the ownership and transfer of the parcel. Mr. Jon Biggs clarified questions regarding the parcel The Board expressed some concerns with the design elements and how they would to be implemented. They asked questions concerning the new windows, glass awning and the maintenance of the awning. The Board asked how the developers had decided on the materials that they are proposing to use. The design team replied by saying that the decisions were made based on the practicality of the application and how it would be maintained. They were also given input by federal and state agencies on how to incorporate the new design elements. The Board clarified that they are supposed to look at the entire site and not just the building. They would like to see plans for signage, landscape, lighting and other aspects of the project, such as samples of the materials to be used.
