Final Review of Long-Term Park Use Policy - (Discussion Item Only) Commission reviewed the minor changes to the Long-Term Park Use Policy. The changes do not significantly change the policy, but rather make it easier to both understand and implement. Small changes were: Added a pre-application clause. - Eliminated trying to cover every specific contingency (e.g. ice creams trucks, Girl Scouts cookie sales, etc.). This item was originally scheduled to go before Council sometime in March, but the City Manager's Office has requested that the item go before Council on February 21, 2006. Commissioners Reeves and Kahuanui recommended that staff forward the Policy on to Council. 7. REPORTS FROM RECREATION COMMISSION AND RECREATION AND PARK DIRECTOR A. STATUS REPORT ON ONGOING PROJECTS The Washington Park Recreation Building has been demolished in preparation for installation of the new building.
