OpenGovernmentCommission | 2015-03-30 | 11 | The Assistant City Attorney stated staff can put something together and the Commission can review it to decide what to include. Commissioner Dieter stated there are two clauses in the Sunshine Ordinance that she does not know if it has ever been adhered to or enforced: 1) the City Attorney shall semi-annually make a determination about whether any closed session minutes should continue to be exempt from disclosure based on whether the disclosure would be detrimental to the City; 2) the City Attorney's office shall prepare and present on the City Council Consent Calendar a list of documents which have determined to be public after previously being determined to be unavailable; the Commission should hear whether or not documents have been declassified at the next meeting. The Assistant City Attorney stated that he would find out and bring back a report.
