Councilmember Knox White stated that he is uncomfortable with starting a dialogue with the proposed Interim City Manager in a public forum; allegations have been brought forth which have not yet been a part of any discussion; expressed support for the proposed Interim City Manager being able to address the issue which has been raised; stated that it is unfair to ask open up an additional discussion with the candidate. Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft concurred with Councilmember Knox White; stated that she finds it troubling for individuals to come forward with unsubstantiated allegations; expressed support for allowing an opportunity to address allegations. To allow time, Council addressed other pulled Consent Calendar items. Accepted. Adopted. (22-349) Resolution No. 15906, "Continuing the Declaration of the Existence of a Local Emergency in Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Consistent with Government Code Section 8630(c). Adopted.
