The City Attorney stated the insurance provision requirement is relatively broad; inquired whether Council would consider approving the lease with modifications to the insurance provisions adequacy as ultimately decided by the City Manager. Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft responded in the affirmative. Councilmember Oddie concurred with seconding the motion with comments made by Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft and the City Attorney. Under discussion, Councilmember Daysog moved approval of a substitute motion replacing the existing language regarding the PLA with the language provided to Council. The substitute motion failed for a lack of second. Vice Mayor Knox White stated that he will be voting for the motion; expressed support for helping the process move along as quickly as possible. On the call for the question, the motion carried by the following voice vote: Ayes: Councilmembers Knox White, Oddie, Vella and Mayor Ezzy Ashcraft - 4.
