Councilmember Oddie stated that he feels it should be someone with a planning background or the Community Development Department (CDD), not SCI. The Community Development Director stated CDD covers Planning, Building and Economic Development. Councilmember Oddie stated CDD can bring in consultants for each. Mayor Spencer inquired whether only the one with the highest points would be selected.
