Vice Mayor Vella inquired whether the IRS has access to the data and could they share it with other law enforcement agencies. Mr. Rodrigues responded in the affirmative if that law enforcement agency is conducting an investigation. Vice Mayor Vella inquired whether there is anything stopping the IRS from sharing the information, Mr. Rodrigues responded such actions would be punishable by law, including loss of employment or worse. Vice Mayor Vella inquired whether there is an option to immediately delete the overview photo. Mr. Rodrigues responded eliminating the imagery would be compromising the effectiveness of the tool. In response to Vice Mayor Vella's inquiry, Mr. Rodrigues descriptors, such as color, are not present, which makes the photo relevant and is used in criminal investigations. The Police Chief stated there are situations, such as stolen license plates, which require the description of the car. Vice Mayor Vella inquired whether the technology has been used in the past, to which the Police Chief responded in the affirmative.
