Mayor Spencer stated requests can include reporting flooding areas. On the call for the question, the motion carried by unanimous voice vote - 5. (16-664) Recommendation to Accept the Work of Ranger Pipelines, Inc. for the Construction of the Park/Otis Force Main Replacement Project, No. P.W. 10-15-19. This item was discussed and voted upon under the cyclic sewer rehabilitation [paragraph no. 16-663]. (16-665) Ordinance No. 3171, "Amending the Alameda Municipal Code by Amending Section 12-17 (Preferential Parking Zones) of Article III (Permit Parking) of Chapter XII (Designated Parking) to Modify the Procedures relating to the Designation of Preferential Parking Zones.' Finally passed. Councilmember Ezzy Ashcraft inquired when the Line 21 free shuttle started, how it was noticed and what has been the ridership since its inception. The Base Reuse Director responded staff has been working with AC Transit for the past six months to meet all the arrival and departure times of the ferry. Councilmember Ezzy Ashcraft inquired how long AC Transit has been meeting the departure and arrival times. The Base Reuse Director responded approximately three months; stated there is sufficient cushion to allow rider's time to board the buses and the ferry.
