Urged approval of staff report Alternate 2, which is a good compromise to balance growth and protect wildlife; stated that she supports designating the undeveloped area as a wildlife refuge: Karen Bey, Alameda. Expressed concern with sending a letter of support since the Council solicited the VA two years ago, which seems like a conflict of interest, and urged better use of the waterfront: Ferda Martin, Alameda.
