Councilmember deHaan inquired whether staff was in contact with the lawyer, to which the Chief Building Official responded in the affirmative; stated the property was not brought to Council last year because the attorney indicated he would work with the City, which did not occur. Ms. Harrington noted the prior attorney only worked 12 hours on the matter in two years, which is not significant; read the letter from the City outlining the violations; stated the property is not in great disrepair.
