Vice Mayor/Authority Member/Commissioner deHaan seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous voice vote - 5. *** The Planning Services Manager gave a brief presentation. Mayor/Chair Johnson stated moving forward on the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is important because Oakland Chinatown organizations are worried that the City is not moving forward. Councilmember/Board Member Matarrese inquired whether the City would own the EIR even though the cost of the EIR would be reimbursed by SunCal, to which the Planning Services Manager responded in the affirmative.
