Following Ms. Marr's comments, Commissioner Tam stated the City is spending $250,000 in advertising between the four associations; having a coordinated effort in getting the most bang for the buck is important. Commissioner Tam moved approval of the staff recommendation. Chair Johnson inquired whether Economic Development would work with the associations to pool resources. The Economic Development Director responded in the affirmative; stated efforts are being made to collaborate a holiday event also. Commissioner deHaan seconded the motion, which carried by the following voice vote - 5.
