Vice Mayor Tam inquired whether the Economic Development Commission could be tasked with the role, to which Mayor Johnson responded possibly. Councilmember Gilmore inquired whether there is consensus to have the matter placed on a City Council agenda. Mayor Johnson responded the matter could be placed on a City Council agenda for discussion. Councilmember deHaan stated that Toyota is in full swing of building a facility on Hegenberger Road the facility will be in place within six months Alameda cannot back fill anything quick enough.
